Job Description

2nd Shift Machine Operator in Austin, TX 78753
Pay:
17.70 /hr
Perks:

Schedule:
2nd Shift - Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 1:30am
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in the production process. Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and standards. Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize production and meet product specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor issues. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions, report any significant issues to the supervisor. Maintain accurate production records and log machine performance data. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products. Assist in training new operators on machine procedures and safety protocols.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
3-4 years of machine operating experience required
MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF RESIDENCY IN THE UNITED STATES
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred). Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
