Job Summary:

We are looking for dependable AOI Operators to join our team in Carrollton, TX. This position is responsible for operating automated inspection equipment, reviewing inspection results, performing visual inspections of printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBAs), and identifying potential quality issues. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, electronics, inspection, quality control, or production experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable working with computers. Training will be provided on the AOI/AXI inspection systems.

What You'll Do:

Operate AOI/AXI inspection equipment and review inspection results. Perform visual inspections of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) Review defects and determine whether they meet established quality concerns. Perform additional verification testing when needed. Work with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to investigate and resolve issues. Gather information and documentation to help identify the root cause of quality or process problems. Enter and review information using computer systems such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel. Identify discrepancies in documentation, products, or processes and communicate concerns to the appropriate team. Manage assigned workload and priorities to meet daily and weekly production goals. Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED 0-1 year of manufacturing, inspection, quality, electronics, or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail Comfortable working with computers and learning new software. Ability to follow written procedures and work independently. Willingness to learn new equipment and inspection processes. Ability to meet production and quality expectations. Reliable attendance and a willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed.

Preferred:

Experience with AOI, AXI, or automated inspection equipment. Electronics manufacturing or PCBA experience. Quality Control or Quality Inspection experience. Experience reading inspection reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs), or other manufacturing documentation. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 or other electronics workmanship standards. Experience using Excel or manufacturing/quality software.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use hands to handle and inspect components and products. Ability to reach, bend, and move throughout the work area. Ability to perform close visual inspection of electronic components and assemblies. Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
