2992011471-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Sazerac Company seeks a Processing Technician to support spirits production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate and monitor processing and batching equipment, follow detailed recipes and SOPs, perform in-process quality checks, and accurately record production data. You'll assist with equipment changeovers, CIP and sanitation, basic troubleshooting, and safe material handling. Working closely with production and quality teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and product consistency while upholding strict safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor spirits processing and batching equipment per SOPs and recipes Measure, weigh, and add ingredients to meet exact batching and quality standards Perform in-process quality checks, document results, and escalate deviations Complete accurate production records, logs, and data entry in plant systems Support equipment changeovers, CIP, and sanitation to maintain food-grade conditions Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and report maintenance needs Handle raw materials and finished product safely, including forklift operation if required Follow all safety, GMP, and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve yield, efficiency, and consistency Participate in continuous improvement activities and training to enhance processing skills Required Skills Batch processing Industrial equipment operation Quality control testing CIP and sanitation procedures Basic mechanical troubleshooting Forklift operation Data entry and production reporting Safety and OSHA compliance GMP and food/beverage safety Reading SOPs and work instructions
