Job Description

Join the Impress Designs Team! Impress Designs has been in business since 1977 and specializes in high-volume decorated apparel, including embroidery and screen printing. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working with your hands, and like being part of a fast-paced production environment, we would like to hear from you! What You'll Do As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will help produce high-quality embroidered apparel while keeping orders moving accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating commercial multi-head embroidery machines Setting up embroidery jobs according to work orders Hooping and loading garments correctly Loading thread colors, needles, backing, and other materials Monitoring machines during production Checking embroidery for proper placement, quality, and appearance Troubleshooting thread breaks, tension issues, and other basic production problems Trimming threads and completing finishing work as needed Counting and organizing completed garments by order, size, and style Maintaining production speed while meeting quality standards Keeping your machine and work area clean and organized Performing basic machine maintenance Communicating production or equipment issues to your supervisor Helping the production team with additional tasks when needed What We're Looking For Previous embroidery or apparel production experience is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Willingness to learn Ability to follow work orders and instructions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good organization and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic mechanical or troubleshooting skills are a plus Physical Requirements This is an active production position.
Employees must be able to:
Stand for extended periods Perform repetitive hand and arm movements Bend, reach, and move throughout the production area Lift and move boxes, garments, and production materials as needed Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30
PM Full-Time Pay:
$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
