Job Description
Precision Wireform Machine Setter-Operator Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. Do you enjoy transforming wire into precise, repeatable parts? Can you read a blueprint, follow a traveler, and dial in a CNC wire bender until the optical comparator gives you a perfect silhouette? Are safety, ISO 9001 discipline, and 5 Why problem-solving part of how you work? If yes, you might be the next member of our team. What you'll do Operate and oversee wireforming machines safely and efficiently. Load wire, perform startups/shutdowns, and complete changeovers with confidence. Use blueprints, work orders, and production travelers to guide production. Verify quality with calipers, micrometers, protractors, and optical comparators. Assist with tooling changes, machine setups, and preventive maintenance tasks. Adjust processes to hold tolerance, maintain quality, and reduce scrap. Adhere to PPE and all safety procedures at all times. What you'll bring High school diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical aptitude, careful workmanship, and the ability to follow instructions. Background in manufacturing, machine operation, blueprint reading, or inspection is a plus. Ability to stand, lift, and work effectively in a production environment.
