Position Overview:

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help us harvest and grow our product for our customers. You will work closely with our maintenance team, harvest & pack area and our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Embrace and exhibit Local Bounti's core values. Strong mechanical knowledge of multiple machines and tools, including their safe operation, uses, and maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. Basic knowledge of the English language, including being able to read, speak, write, and to train others on operations, to include understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Analytical skills and the ability to use logic and reasoning to trouble shoot, identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to a problem. Communicate with team members, and support teams to ensure continuous, safe production of the product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. 6 months related experience or training, or equivalent of education and experience. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong knowledge of machinery and tools. Must frequently lift and/or move 10 to 25 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
