Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall blending of products from specific work orders and the document trail that accompanies process. Must follow blending instructions and chemical blend with precision. Responsible for accurately blending or mixing various chemical formulations to produce quality finished goods that meet customer specifications. Attention to detail when mixing quantity amounts of chemical and confirming changes in writing on work orders should adjustmentsneed to be made. Be familiar with all products in storage tanks and their specific hazards. Works closely with supervisors in assuring the proper tanks are connected to the packaging stations and to notify operators when levels are getting low. Responsible for product staging, production and packaging. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of both batch and warehouse area. Load and unload incoming and outgoing loads of product with forklift in a safe manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience with liquid blending. Valid Hazwoper certification preferred. Ability to read, write and understand metric amounts such as gallons, quarts, etc. Previous experience working with forklifts.
