Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting sheet metal tubing/bars to spec, using a CNC saw. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship are valued. Shift 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) Monday - Friday Responsibilities Operate saws and related equipment to cut sheet metal accurately. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine cutting requirements. Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and visual checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Help maintain accurate sheet metal inventory records and support overall shop organization. Requirements Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Prior experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
