Job Summary The Compounding Technician is responsible for processing raw materials through blending, mixing, and milling operations to produce finished compounds that meet quality and production standards. This role follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure consistent product quality, safety, and efficiency. The Compounding Technician will work in 2 facilities: in Sherman and Van Alstyne, TX. Key Responsibilities- Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare raw materials for compounding
- Operate blending, mixing, and milling equipment according to SOPs
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and consistency
- Follow all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements at all times
- Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and production documentation
- Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with manufacturing standards
- Meet production schedules and quantity requirements
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives as assigned Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Compounding experience in manufacturing (production) in the food/beverage industry is a MUST
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures precisely
- Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to specified weight limits)
- Heavy lifting is a MUST, up to 75lbs or more
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
- 6 am to 6 pm. Schedule may vary
- Over-Time is required as needed per production needs
