We are looking for:
The Handling Technician is responsible for the safe production, transfer and packaging of various raw materials and products for the Vernon, TX site.
We count on you for:
Operate valves, switches, levers and other control devices.
Perform daily safety/housekeeping chores such as picking up, washing, sweeping and shoveling.
May be required to operate different types of moving equipment such as trucks and forklifts.
Provide the base for our fire and rescue squads and at times anyone may be asked and required
to serve on these.
Ability to turn in maintenance notifications in RCS on the equipment they are responsible for during their
assigned shift.
Operate equipment, transfer and packaging of various materials, adjust and record process changes
Plant improvement team work
Training (SOPs, COPs, Active Learner, etc)

You will bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years experience in production of chemicals preferred
Previous experience in forklift operation preferred.
Ability to work 8 to 12 hours per shift standing, moving throughout facility
Ability to communicate fluently in English
Ability to utilize a computer and associated software
Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently consistently throughout shift
Basic math skills and be able to interpret lab results to make process changes.

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $22.69 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
