Job Description
Overview We are a professional uniform and tactical retail store. Our primary niche of customers are public safety, some medical related. Duties Operate multi-needle embroidery machines (we currently have 2, adding up to 6) Alterations of uniforms (hemming, take-in/out, adding patches, rank stripes, ceremonial Class A dress uniform coats and trousers) Heat press vinyl or screen print transfer Support retail store operations when workflow permits or as otherwise assigned. Requirements Proven experience operating embroidery or sewing machines of sewing operation, serging, garment alterations, and seam construction techniques Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately. Understanding of embroidery theory and practice (what type of stitch is best for the work being done) Experience in digitizing or graphic art (vector creation) a plus (additional pay per design) Must like large dogs•Zoe works here too•she's a
