Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Embroidery Machine and Heat Transfer Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role involves operating embroidery machines and heat transfer equipment to produce high-quality custom designs on a variety of fabric materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring precise machine operation, maintaining quality standards in production, and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate embroidery machines and heat transfer equipment efficiently to produce detailed designs on garments and fabric items. Set up machines according to design specifications, including adjusting measuring instruments and ensuring proper alignment. Monitor machine performance throughout production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Handle fabric materials carefully, ensuring proper placement and tension during embroidery or heat transfer processes. Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety standards in production at all times. Perform manual fabric cutting when required to prepare materials for embroidery or transfer application. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly, performing basic repairs or notifying maintenance for complex problems. Ensure seam construction and garment assembly meet quality standards in the final product. Assist with warehouse activities related to materials handling, inventory management, and storage of finished goods. Requirements Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines, embroidery machines, or heat transfer equipment within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of sewing techniques including garment construction, serging, and seam construction. Familiarity with measuring instruments and dimensional measurements used in quality control. Understanding of fabric materials, upholstery fabrics, and their handling during manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret design files and set up machines accordingly. Strong adherence to safety standards in production environments. Experience with materials handling, warehouse procedures, and inventory management. Basic skills in manual cutting (fabric cutting) and garment sewing are preferred. Attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in production processes. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
