Despite a physical disability that affects only my muscle coordination, I have full days packed with working on my series of novels, emailing colleagues and friends, going places, and enjoying my three comical cats named Bradley, Billy, and Barack. I couldn't enjoy doing any of these independent activities if I didn't have support staff helping me out of bed and getting ready for the day. I invite mindful, calm individuals to apply to assist me (8 am-12 pm @ $25.00/hr) . I need physical assistance with getting out of bed, toileting, bathing, eating breakfast, dressing, getting into my power wheelchair, and other things. You don't need any prior experience, as I provide paid hands-on training. In addition to managing all aspects of my own life, I manage my support staff. I appreciate people who are self-starters, mellow, thoughtful, and joyful. My staff find me straightforward, thorough, fair to the team, and creatively funny. Since I live a busy life, I don't have time to entertain my staff, but I can get chatty at times using my eye gaze communication system and eye code.
