  • Friday Overtime and weekend work may be available What You'll Do As a Unitizer Operator, you'll play a key role in preparing finished product for shipment by operating unitizing equipment safely and efficiently.
You'll handle machine setup, operation, cleanup, and look for ways to improve the process while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Setting up and running the unitizer and related equipment Properly placing bands and stretch wrap according to production standards Ensuring unit tags, cover sheets, and stacking patterns are accurate Scanning barcodes and verifying unit quantities Building neat, secure units with the correct number of bands Monitoring equipment to maximize speed and productivity Pulling excess scrap material from units Completing production, safety, quality, and machine status reports Operating a forklift safely (as needed) Following the production schedule and reporting any issues to your supervisor Performing additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For You don't need prior manufacturing experience to be successful—we'll train the right candidate. What matters most is reliability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Comfortable sitting for extended periods when operating a forklift Basic math and computer/scanner skills Strong communication skills Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift with occasional overtime/weekends Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
