Job Summary City Brewery has an immediate opening in our batching department. This position is responsible for operating various manual and automated manufacturing equipment. The Batching Associate will be able to complete tasks in cleaning, mixing, blending, materials batching, sanitation, quality and filtration. You will be responsible for completing daily and weekly batching operations tasks on time and within standard operating procedures, while ensuring safety and quality. Duties and Responsibilities Movement of product using hose connections, operation of pumps and valves. Performance of basic laboratory testing and data recording. Tank cleaning using a CIP system. General cleaning with use of chemicals and pressure hoses. Loading and unloading of tanker trucks and completion of necessary paperwork. Safely perform all work tasks; wearing all required personal protective equipment. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP guidelines. Manually batch dry and liquid ingredients. Forklkift operator for material movement around facility. Ensure safety procedures are followed by adherence to company policies. Minimum Qualifications Computer literacy & proficiency in Microsoft office suite required for data entry and equipment operation. Strong mathematical skills are required for measurement conversions and inventory management. Candidate must have the ability to complete training for and use respiratory equipment. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds up to 100 pounds. Confined space entry. Ability to work within temperature swings and work outside in all weather conditions for loading and unloading of rails and tankers. Previous food processing experience and familiarity with HACCP programs preferred. Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen, physical capacity exam & background check. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
