Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM About the role We're hiring a 3rd shift Packaging Lead for a commercial bakery in Oak Creek that produces desserts for retail and foodservice customers. You'll run the packaging end of the line — keeping product moving, keeping the crew on task, and making sure what goes in the case is right the first time. This is a working lead position. You'll be on the floor with your team, not behind a desk. What you'll do Lead a crew of packaging associates on assigned dessert lines through the shift Set up lines at start of shift and change over between products and package formats Keep production running at rate — watch for jams, backups, and short feeds, and fix or escalate quickly Verify product quality, code dates, labels, case counts, and pack configuration before product leaves the line Assign breaks and rotations, train new associates on line positions, and hold the crew to GMP and food safety standards Complete production paperwork: line checks, downtime, scrap, and shift handoff notes Keep the area clean and sanitation-ready through the shift and at end of run What you need 1+ year leading or directing a crew in food manufacturing, packaging, or a similar production environment Comfortable working around packaging equipment — sealers, case packers, labelers, conveyors Able to read production schedules and specs and catch problems before they become rework Solid attendance and the ability to hold a 3rd shift schedule consistently Able to stand for the full shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a refrigerated environment Food manufacturing experience with
