GED Full Job Description Schedule:
1st Shift Monday - Friday 6am - 2:00pm Midwest Refrigerated Services is a full-service 3PL company providing refrigerated logistics services for the food industry. Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting and fulfillment needs. General Accountabilities include:
Directing the work activities of employees as directed by Supervisor Training of employees Provide input on disciplinary issues Exceptional sanitation Food Safety / Food Defense Fair and professional treatment of all associates Monitoring breaks and lunches Controlling housekeeping activities Building inspection/GMP/ inventory/ osd control Expected to help cover for the Supervisors vacation and PTO Other duties as assigned Help with CSR functions Working together as with management team
Prerequisites:
High School Diploma ( or equivalent) Experience Operating Forklift or Pallet Jacks Previous Experience with RF Controlled Inventory Systems Previous Experience Handling Food Products (a plus)
