1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift (8-hour schedules)

Wednesday to Sunday Build Your Future with Pregis As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in producing high-quality packaging solutions while ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment. At Pregis, Machine Operators are trusted to own their equipment, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement while working alongside a team committed to safety, collaboration, and operational excellence. What You'll Do Machine Setup & Operation Set up and operate production equipment according to manufacturing specifications and safety requirements. Perform machine startup, shutdown, and changeover activities. Monitor machine performance throughout production runs to ensure efficiency and quality. Adjust machine settings and operating parameters to optimize performance and reduce downtime. Troubleshooting & Equipment Care Identify and resolve basic equipment issues to maintain continuous production. Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance activities. Escalate equipment concerns when additional maintenance support is needed. Safely operate electric pallet jacks, roll lifts, and hoists. Quality & Production Excellence Perform quality inspections in accordance with the Pregis Quality Management System. Monitor product quality and make adjustments to maintain production standards. Accurately document production output, machine settings, and operational issues. Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Safety & Teamwork Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with team members during shift handoffs and throughout the production process. Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented culture. What We're Looking For Required Skills Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and industrial safety practices. Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills. Basic computer and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures. Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety mindset. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Exposure to moving machinery and manufacturing equipment. Working in environments where temperatures and humidity levels may vary. Exposure to industrial noise requiring hearing protection. Use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other equipment as required. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of manufacturing experience. Experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
