We are seeking Punch and Brake Press Operators, Material Handlers and Punch Press Operators for a large manufacturing company in West Bend. We have multiple roles, multiple shifts and OT available. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Operation & Setup

• Set up, operate, and adjust production machinery including CNC machines, brake press, and punch press equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce parts to specification
• Load and position raw materials; verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Monitor machine performance during production runs and make real-time adjustments as needed
• Perform routine changeovers and tooling adjustments between jobs CNC Machinist Duties
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers following programmed instructions
• Enter and verify program offsets, tool lengths, and work coordinates prior to production runs
• Select and mount appropriate tooling; adjust feeds, speeds, and depths of cut for material type
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measurement instruments
• Troubleshoot program issues, tool wear, and surface finish defects; escalate as needed
• Basic G-code review and minor edits at the machine control (experience a plus; training available) Brake Press Operator Duties
• Set up and operate hydraulic or mechanical press brakes to bend and form sheet metal parts per print
• Select and install proper tooling (punches and dies); calculate bend deductions and spring-back allowances
• Program or enter bend sequences on CNC-controlled press brake controllers
• Inspect formed parts for angle accuracy, dimensions, and surface condition using squares, angle gauges, and calipers
• Adjust back gauge settings and tool alignment to maintain tight tolerances across production runs Punch Press Operator Duties
• Set up and operate turret punch presses or single-station punch presses for sheet metal blanking and forming
• Load punching programs or follow punch sequence layouts from engineering documentation
• Install, align, and secure punches and dies; verify clearances for material type and thickness
• Inspect punched parts for burr height, hole size, feature location, and overall flatness
• Perform die maintenance checks and report worn or chipped tooling to maintenance or tooling team Quality Control
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality against drawing specifications
• Document production data, inspection results, and non-conformance reports accurately
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and participate in corrective action as directed

Ideal If You Bring:

• 1+ years of experience operating CNC machines, brake press, punch press, or similar metal fabrication equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges
• Experience with tooling selection, offsets, and basic CNC programming (G-code a plus)
• Prior experience in a metal stamping, fabrication, job shop, or precision manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with press brake programming software (e.

g., BySoft, Delem, or similar) is a plus Training-Track Candidates — We'll Train the

Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
