REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 6 months of related work

Responsibilities:

1. Checks production sheets to determine which machine will run in order to follow production schedule. 2. Sets up date codes and the bulk packaging machines. 3. Ensures thorough cleaning and sanitizing of equipment after use. 4. Inspect equipment prior to use and after cleaning. 5. Keeps the packaging room clean and organized, especially while production is running. 6. Assists in safely pulling and staging packaging materials for the daily run. 7. Understands packaging processes which include matching lids, cups, and foils; watching the heat tunnel, keeping automatic feeders full, and ensuring correct bulk packaging. 8. Measures pH of various products to determine when it is ready to package. 9. Monitors the quality of the product going into cups or bulk packaging. 10. Monitors weights and keep accurate records of all checks. 11. Monitors all cups and bulk seals. 12. Make sure all boxes are taped before leaving the packaging area. 13. Preforms other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. High school diploma or equivalency required. 2. Requires 6 months of related work experience. 3. Focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity, and having the ability to read, understand, and follow SOP's and GMP's is required. 4. Dependability, flexibility, energy, and efficiency is required. 5. Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and work in a team or independently with a positive attitude is required. 6. The ability to adapt, multitask, and remain organized is required.
