ProAmpac are looking to hire Extruder Machine Assistants! Extruder Machine Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to: Load raw materials like plastic polymer in machine hopper while maintaining levels and replenishing as needed Prepare and perform splicing when changing rolls to ensure a smooth transition without downtime Remove completed roll and properly package to send to shipping Conduct visual inspection of rolls to ensure it meets quality standards Prepare station for next run with rolls

Requirements:

Manufacturing experience with emphasis on reading a tape measure A desire to become a machine operator Experience handling product and working around machines Good communication skills Ability to work well with others This department runs on a 2-2-3 rotating 12 hour schedule. You would rotate from day shift to night shift throughout the week.
