Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Role Overview BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to support our client's medical device manufacturing operations in Westbrook, Maine.

In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will assemble, repair, inspect, and test high-quality medical devices and related components while following established procedures and strict quality requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are comfortable working with small components, following detailed instructions, and maintaining accuracy in a highly regulated production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, inspection, and testing of medical devices and related assemblies. Complete routine manufacturing assignments according to established procedures and work instructions. Handle and maneuver small parts and components with accuracy and care. Maintain accurate production, traveler, traceability, and quality documentation. Follow all applicable safety procedures and use required safety equipment. Identify and clearly communicate production problems, quality concerns, and potential solutions. Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives designed to improve manufacturing processes and performance. Maintain accurate electronic production records using data collection systems and computer software. Support established Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and other applicable regulatory requirements. Participate in individual and manufacturing cell performance goals and improvement activities. Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles in daily production activities. Maintain a professional and positive approach when interacting with manufacturing leadership, coworkers, and visitors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts. Ability to use electronic data collection systems and basic computer software. Ability to prioritize work based on production sequence, timing, and importance. Ability to maintain accurate documentation and product traceability. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to make sound decisions and judgments within established procedures. Previous manufacturing, assembly, medical device, electronics, or other regulated production experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

On-site medical device manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to comply with the production area's gowning, cleanliness, and contamination-control requirements. These requirements include wearing clean, non-shedding clothing and appropriate closed-toe/closed-heel footwear; maintaining covered arms, legs, and torso; and following restrictions regarding jewelry, artificial or coated nails, makeup, scented products, loose-fiber garments, and other items that could create contamination or safety concerns.
