will not be consideredJob Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to support the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. This role works under close supervision and plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance.
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on:
- Pacemakers
- Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs)
- Leads and related medical device assemblies
- Follow standardized procedures and complete routine assignments with high accuracy
- Ensure all job documentation is accurate and up to date
- Maintain traceability of parts and accurate production/quality records
- Communicate clearly with manufacturing management regarding ideas, issues, and solutions
- Follow all safety guidelines and properly use safety equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements
- Assist in setting and monitoring performance and quality metrics with supervisors
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal teams and external visitors (e.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to:
- Read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Use electronic data collection systems and basic computer software
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Handle and maneuver small components with precision
- Make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (preferred).
