Bend Test Operator (1st Shift)- Monday to Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30

Irvine, CA SUMMARY Sets up and operates a machine that tests the composite core in a prescribed quality control process in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely fashion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sets up and operates the testing of the composite core to a prescribed bend radius. Reads and interprets procedures and guidelines. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks to complete goals. Works under general supervision. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent. Must have 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Follow documented processes using best and safe practices. Use and operate measuring instruments, such as calipers. Familiar with quality paperwork and understanding ISO and quality control processes. Maintain a high degree of integrity in recording quality issues. Willingness to cross-train and share knowledge and skills with others. Maintain required and accurate paperwork. Housekeeping/maintenance of work area and machinery. Identify and initiate product and process improvements. Safety- and goal-oriented. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. Operate various types of forklift and pallet jacks. Execute basic math skills. Perform in a team environment. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
