Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating and maintaining injection molding machines, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the production of high-quality molded parts while adhering to safety standards and operational efficiency. Responsibilities/daily tasks : Perform regular preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. : Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on injection molding machines and related systems. : Assist in the setup and operating of injection molding machines, ensuring they run smoothly and produce high-quality parts. : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activist, repairs, and equipment performance to support continuous improvement efforts. : Work closely with production teams and management to ensure that machinery operates efficiently and meets production goals. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, specifically in injection molding operations. Proficiency with hydraulics, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with schematics, analysis skills, and troubleshooting techniques related to injection molding machines. Experience with welding techniques, including stick welding, is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with an emphasis on industrial mechanics or electrical experience. Background in HVAC/R systems is beneficial for maintaining environmental controls within the facility. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients as needed.
Physically Ability:
Must be able to lift 56 pounds and perform tasks that require standing and bending for extended periods. Experience using Arburg Machines is a Plus.
