Location:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience The Injection Molding Operator will operate and monitor injection molding equipment to produce quality plastic components while following production, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor injection molding machines and related equipment. Perform machine setups, startups, changeovers, and basic adjustments. Monitor machine settings, production cycles, temperatures, and pressures. Inspect molded parts for quality, appearance, and defects. Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment or process issues. Assist with mold and material changes as needed. Load materials and properly handle, trim, package, and label finished products. Maintain accurate production, quality, scrap, and downtime records. Follow work instructions, SOPs, safety requirements, and 5S standards. Communicate quality or production issues to Supervisors, Quality, Maintenance, or Engineering. Perform basic equipment checks and preventative maintenance tasks. Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of injection molding or related manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications. Experience with basic quality inspection tools such as calipers or gauges preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed.
