Lead Injection Molding Process Technician Job Ready to lead the process, work with modern all-electric molding equipment, and have every Friday off? We are seeking an experienced Lead Injection Molding Process Technician to take a hands-on leadership role within a growing manufacturing operation in Central, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced processor who enjoys troubleshooting, improving processes, developing other technicians, and working with modern injection molding technology. What You'll Do Lead daily injection molding processing activities Set, align and secure molds in injection molding machines Establish and optimize molding process parameters Troubleshoot molding defects, equipment issues and process problems Monitor production, quality and process performance Apply scientific molding and RJG Decoupled Molding principles Work with engineering and production teams on process improvements Train and mentor Process Technicians Support continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate process documentation Assist with SOPs and work instructions Promote safe work practices and strong quality standards Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on injection molding processing experience - REQUIRED Strong injection molding troubleshooting skills Experience developing, adjusting and optimizing molding processes Knowledge of RJG Decoupled Molding Strong understanding of process equipment and control systems Experience with mold setups and changeovers Ability to analyze processing problems and determine root causes Previous leadership, training or mentoring experience Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Scientific molding experience RJG Master Molder training or certification Haitian or Zhafir injection molding experience Sepro robot or automation experience Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge Proto@type or short-run molding experience Why You'll Want to Work Here 4-day workweek - Monday through Thursday Every Friday off Recently upgraded all-electric injection molding equipment Clean, quiet and fully climate-controlled facility Hands-on leadership opportunity In-house tooling and product development capabilities Relocation assistance available Health, dental and vision insurance Retirement plan How to Apply Please submit a current resume for confidential consideration.
