AM Job Description:
We are seeking an Automation Technician with hands-on experience in injection molding automation and industrial robotics.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, conveyors, and vision systems. Program and optimize robots such as FANUC, Sepro, Yushin, and Wittmann . Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment. Support mold trials, new product launches, and production setups. Maintain robot programs, backups, and maintenance records. Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, quality, and equipment reliability. Follow all safety, ISO, FDA, and GMP requirements.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required B.E./B.Tech. or Associate Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in automation, robotics, or injection molding. Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, electrical/mechanical schematics, and EOAT . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Sepro, FANUC, Yushin, or Wittmann robots . Experience with conveyors, vision systems, sensors, actuators, and pneumatic systems. Experience supporting mold trials and new product launches. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies. Experience working in environments following ISO, FDA, or GMP standards .
Pay:
$33.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
