- Job Description As a POC Molding Technician, you will mold parts using plastic injection processes, taking direct responsibility for handling tooling and injection molds through to the placement of finished parts for packaging and shipping.
You will install and set up molds, tooling, and required process parameters for production molds while monitoring cycle times, quality standards, and process consistency. Responsibilities Inspect parts off mold to verify dimensional accuracy, cosmetic quality, and functional requirements. Maintain resin inventory and ensure proper material handling, drying, and traceability. Make necessary adjustments to optimize quality and reduce defects in the injection molding process. Operate CAD software and interpret 2D/3D models and engineering drawings. Maintain spare tooling inventory and support tooling organization and readiness. Perform preventive maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime. Essential Skills Expertise in mold setup, insert placement, process monitoring, and troubleshooting. Ability to work closely with molding process engineering and Quality teams. Hands-on technical knowledge and process feedback skills. Proficiency in assembly, hand tool usage, and assembling. Blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Knowledge of electrical wiring and soldering. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00
