Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with optional overtime work on Saturdays as needed About The Mold Removers The Mold Removers, LLC is a growing mold remediation company with 25+ years of experience in the industry. We provide comprehensive mold services, including inspections, testing, remediation, and removal for residential and commercial properties. We take pride in providing high-quality work, maintaining a professional customer experience, and developing our team. About the Position We are seeking a Mold Remediation Technician to join our Indianapolis team. This is a hands-on position responsible for performing mold remediation and related restoration work while maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in physically demanding environments, and willing to learn. Previous mold remediation or restoration experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Perform mold remediation projects in residential and commercial properties Identify and address areas affected by mold and moisture Set up containment and remediation equipment Operate specialized equipment such as HEPA air scrubbers, negative-air machines, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums Remove affected materials and perform detailed cleaning and treatment Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project Protect unaffected areas of the property during remediation Follow company safety procedures and established remediation practices Take photographs and document work performed on each project Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and other contractors Maintain company equipment and vehicles Complete other duties related to mold remediation and property restoration as needed Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform physically demanding work Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and other confined or challenging environments Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Preferred / Bonus Qualifications Previous mold remediation or restoration experience Experience in construction, demolition, HVAC, roofing, plumbing, or other skilled trades Mold remediation or restoration certifications Familiarity with remediation equipment and procedures Knowledge of workplace safety practices Additional technical training or relevant education What We Offer $22-$28/hour, based on experience Company vehicle Paid vacation Sick leave Holiday pay Performance-based bonuses Employee referral bonuses Overtime pay at 1.5× regular hourly rate Company-sponsored memberships Training and professional development opportunities Opportunities for advancement as the company continues to grow Growth Opportunities We are actively expanding our company and are looking for employees who want to grow with us.
