Shift:
2nd shift Position Summary Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Mold Setter is responsible for safely performing mold changeovers, installations, and startups to support production goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency. This role ensures molds are set up according to established processes, monitors key process parameters, maintains accurate documentation, and troubleshoots tooling, process, and equipment issues. The Mold Setter plays a key role in supporting a safe work environment while minimizing downtime and maximizing production performance. Key Responsibilities Operate mold-changing equipment to safely and efficiently perform mold changeovers. Execute mold installation procedures to ensure molds are properly set up and production-ready. Understand and utilize quality system requirements, including interpreting process and quality data related to molding operations. Maintain accurate and thorough production documentation while ensuring effective communication of process and operational data. Perform all job duties in accordance with established safety policies, procedures, and company standards. Qualifications Strong commitment to working safely and supporting an injury-free work environment. Ability to follow all division safety rules and demonstrate leadership in establishing and following Safe Work Procedures. Knowledge of and ability to perform sound mold installation and setup procedures. Ability to make sound decisions regarding priorities, cost control, scrap reduction, and operational efficiency. Ability to safely and properly install and start existing molds using established processes and the five key process parameters. Strong troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude, with the ability to systematically analyze tooling, processes, and equipment to identify and resolve issues. Preferred Previous experience performing mold changeovers, mold installations, and machine startups in a manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting molding processes, tooling, and equipment to support production efficiency and quality standards. Working knowledge of quality systems, process documentation, and data interpretation related to molding operations. ThermoSafe is an Equal Opportunity Employer
