Basic Function:
_- _Safely and effectively set up and operate Two-Step machines and related machinery in accordance with production requirements. Troubleshoot problems to maintain operational efficiency and quality. Retrieve and record related production data and communicate effectively with coworkers to maintain production flow and respond to changes in production schedule._
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
- + Responsible for achieving assigned goals in the areas of safety, quality, production, performance, and cost.
- Add + Complete required data collection including but not limited to: process sheets, process deviation logs in FMS, daily operator checks, housekeeping sheets, partial Gaylord tickets, and downtime reports.
- Accurately account for preform usage or consumption. Verify all tickets are entered in preform use log in the correct order using first in first out (FIFO) methodology. + Enter Master Process parameters, set cams and adjust air pressures when setting up for a new container after a tooling changeover. Leverage available tools, including Master Process tools, standard processing for relevant defects
- Add + Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Sidel Function. + Review standard work, hour by hour boards, fast action safety boards
- Add + Cover breaks, lunches, and other staffing needs
- Add + May perform other assignments at the direction of frontline leaders.

- This position reports directly to the Frontline Leaders
Education/Experience:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous blow-molding, plastics experience is preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Incumbent must possess effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
- Incumbent must be capable of learning and successfully applying SAP Mii system and Customer Profiles. Must be able to quickly grasp operation of Two-Step machines and related equipment and possess the ability to troubleshoot problems through the plastic blow molding process. Incumbent must be capable of completing two-step levels programs within acceptable time frames.
Other:
- Incumbent must possess a high degree of attention to detail and to production flow.
Physical:
- Must be capable of standing and walking on production floor for length of production shift with standard breaks. Will be required to lift/carry up to 60 lbs. occasionally. Must occasionally squat, bend, kneel, reach, etc., in order to carry out essential functions of the position. Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for entirety of shift.
