Injection Molding Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving molding presses, automation systems, CNC machinery, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of maintenance experience in injection molding, plastics manufacturing, or industrial manufacturing. Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding presses. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting molding auxiliary equipment. Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems. Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems. Experience troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Experience troubleshooting electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance. Experience diagnosing equipment failures and performing equipment repairs. Experience using hand and power tools. Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and data entry. Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Experience maintaining Engel, Arburg, Sodick, Toyo, or similar injection molding equipment. Experience with robotic systems and industrial automation. Experience with end-of-arm tooling (EOAT). Experience in medical device or contract manufacturing environments. Experience working within an ISO 13485-regulated quality system. Experience maintaining dryers, chillers, thermolators, and hot runner systems. Experience maintaining conveyors and material handling systems. Experience maintaining CNC machines. Experience with automated manufacturing equipment. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Electrical troubleshooting experience with sensors, relays, motors, and controls. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. Job Responsibilities Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on injection molding presses, robots, CNC machines, and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment issues. Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective repairs. Support installation, startup, relocation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment. Maintain and repair dryers, chillers, thermolators, conveyors, and material handling equipment. Support maintenance of hot runner systems and related molding equipment. Troubleshoot equipment-related injection molding process issues. Maintain robotic systems, automation equipment, and EOAT. Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring maintenance issues. Complete maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation. Maintain equipment documentation within applicable maintenance systems. Support equipment reliability and downtime reduction initiatives. Support
ISO 13485
documentation and quality system requirements. Follow lockout/tagout and applicable equipment safety procedures. Support production equipment repairs and maintenance activities across manufacturing operations.
Pay:
