You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and enhancing manufacturing efficiency through proactive equipment management and process oversight. Responsibilities Operate and troubleshoot injection and blow molding machinery to maximize operational uptime and output consistency. Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with engineering teams to reduce scrap rates and streamline production cycles. Conduct rigorous quality inspections to ensure all molded components meet strict technical specifications. Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and equipment to extend asset life and prevent unexpected failures. Document production metrics, including changeover times, downtime, and material waste, to support data-driven process adjustments. Identify and escalate tooling-related issues to leadership to ensure rapid resolution and maintain production schedules. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years focused on machine operation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics. Proven expertise in both injection molding and blow molding technologies. Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and overhead cranes. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with industrial hand tools for equipment adjustments. Strong analytical skills for identifying process bottlenecks. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs and working in varied temperature environments.
