Job Description

Job Summary As a 3rd Assistant Supervisor/Mold Setup Technician you'll be responsible for supporting all aspects of the injection molding process—from mold setup and machine operation during breaks to troubleshooting, quality inspection and some material handling responsibilities and supporting the needs of the Shift Supervisor. What You'll Do Provide leadership support for the Shift Supervisor Perform mold changes, setups, and adjustments to support daily production. Perform timely job start-ups after the completed mold changes to ensure consistent quality and performance. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot molding or equipment issues to minimize downtime. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on molds, tools, and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Drive accountability and help instill company core values Who You Are A hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical aptitude. Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or on a team. Comfortable standing for long periods (8+ hours) and performing repetitive tasks. Preferred Qualifications Previous set-up experience in plastic injection molding preferred Experience troubleshooting machinery or production issues. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or mechanical systems. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and plastic materials. Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive hand motions. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required. Full-time position with opportunities for overtime as production needs arise. On-site in a manufacturing environment.
