Job Description

Process Technician Injection Molding- Night Shift Primary Purpose:
Perform as a team leader for department under direct supervision, overseeing production standards are met and exceeded Maintain conduct in a professional manner
Essential Functions:
Complete all required documentation based on procedures and work instructions to meet requirements Process monitoring and set up master processes Encourage and support direct and indirect labor training and cross training and continuous improvement Maintain a work environment to reduce employee turnover and increase employee tenure Ensure work cell and manufacturing efficiency to ensure program and part planned efficiency is met Monitor and take necessary steps to reduce internal scrap through effective trouble shooting methods (8D, Design of Experiment, etc.) Coordinate glue change over and downtime with breaks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Perform duties as instructed by your supervisor Assist in the development of plant layout in accordance with lean manufacturing principles Monitor all SPC on equipment and machinery Fill in for absent supervision Additional tasks assigned
Qualifications:
Must have minimum 3 years process technician experience in plastic injection molding Good organizational, communication, computer, math skills Ability to positively and proactively interact/communicate with employees at all organizational levels Good understanding of measurement tools, and troubleshooting equipment Understanding and ability to learn robot programming Lock out / tag out procedures

$23.00 - $29.00 per hour
