Alexandria, MN Pay Rate:

Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures Strong attention to detail and quality Job Duties Operate molding presses to produce quality molded parts Read and follow work orders and operator instructions Perform visual inspections and quality checks on parts Clip and trim molded parts as needed Pack completed parts into boxes for shipment or storage Monitor material levels and refill as directed Communicate press and production information during shift changes Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety policies and procedures Assist with other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Molding Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment. What You Will Do As a Molding Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. The Molding Operator supports manufacturing success by operating production equipment according to established safety and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and dependable work habits throughout every shift.
