Job DescriptionWe are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill Operator you will be responsible for:
Running batches of ink at proper mill settingsPackaging finished product in various containers and applying labelsCleaning and maintaining machines to TPM StandardsLearning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activitiesHockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standardsCreating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing timesCanningOperating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forkliftActing as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording dataCompleting scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures.
Helping with repacksHours are Monday - Friday 3 pm - 11 pmQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalentHave 3 months of related work experienceDemonstrate good math and basic computer skillsPay attention to detailBe reliable to work assigned shiftBe flexible to work overtime as requiredHave a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) backgroundBe able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teamsHave good attendance and punctualityBe able to lift up to 50 lbsIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
