We are looking for a creative and experienced Jewelry CAD Model Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fine jewelry construction and assembly , not just CAD modeling. We are looking for someone who can take a design concept and develop it into a well-engineered, production-ready 3D model , while also contributing creative ideas and practical solutions throughout the design process. Responsibilities Create detailed and accurate 3D CAD models for fine jewelry Develop models from sketches, reference images, concepts, and existing pieces Understand how jewelry components are constructed, assembled, set, and finished Design models with manufacturing, casting, stone setting, polishing, and assembly in mind Identify potential production issues and recommend practical solutions Collaborate with designers and production teams to refine designs Maintain a high level of accuracy while working on complex and detailed pieces Bring creativity and problem-solving skills to new designs and custom projects Qualifications Professional experience in jewelry CAD modeling Strong proficiency in Rhino ; experience with Matrix or similar jewelry CAD software is a plus Strong understanding of fine jewelry construction and manufacturing Knowledge of stone settings, tolerances, metal thicknesses, mechanisms, and assembly methods Ability to create production-ready models , not just visual renderings Strong attention to detail, proportions, and aesthetics Creative mindset with the ability to interpret and improve upon design concepts Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with designers and production teams What We're Looking For We are especially interested in someone who combines technical CAD expertise with a jeweler's understanding of how a piece actually comes together . You should be able to look beyond the screen and understand how the finished piece will be cast, assembled, set, polished, and worn. Please submit your resume and portfolio of jewelry CAD work .
