Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Duties:
- Repair and maintain all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, thermolators, grinders, assembly fixtures, etc. in support of the production department.
- Service and repair hydraulics, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Collect and document daily and weekly key equipment PM and safety inspections.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the set-up of hydraulics, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Previous experience working in maintenance department.
- General experience with machine maintenance and repairs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic prints
- Must be familiar with tools and gages.
- Must have knowledge of OSHA safety requirements for General Industry
- Ability to read technical specifications and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and written processes.
- Adaptable, willing to adjust to changing demands and circumstances, open to new ideas and approaches problems as opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic Computer knowledge
