Job Description

Embarking on a journey with us as a Casting Machinist, you'll witness the transformation of raw aluminum into integral industrial components. This position involves a mastery over several techniques to produce top-quality items. Indulge in casting components from molten aluminum, weld critical rotor prop stacks, operate advanced CNC machinery, and perfect your work through trimming and deburring processes. Your dedication to our internal procedures, quality control indicators, and detailed blueprints will be the key to our success.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

PM Guidance Duties:

Oversight on training and providing expert guidance to new recruits.

What You'll Be Doing:

Setup & Execution of Trimming

Conduct Stack Welding Methods

CNC Machinery Management

Casting Setup & Operation; DCM Press Handling

Precision Deburring Tasks

Orchestrate Stacking Operations

Run Sandblasting Equipment

Manage Annealing Schedules

Tool & Die Transitioning

Operate Counterbore / Carry out Drill Press Work

Conservation of Tools / Equipment / Machinery

Inspection and Quality Assurance

Additional tasks may be assigned as warranted

Skills and Proficiencies Required:

Mechanical aptitude

Comprehension of both oral and written guidelines

Blueprint literacy

Tool usage including calipers

Academic and Experience Requirements:

High School Completion

Entry-level Experience Welcomed Physical Requirements:

Capacity to withstand high temperatures, chemicals, and fumes

Capability to lift up to 100 lbs

Potential hands-on skill evaluation

Overtime work requirements

Ability to maintain positions for lengthy durations

Your Expertise Should Include:

Experience in Metal Casting
