Tube Mill Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Tube Mill Operator to join our team at our Mansfield manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess 1-4 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in basic troubleshooting, reading setup sheets, and using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. This role requires a commitment to safety, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and the independence to manage tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Operate tube mill machinery with precision and attention to detail. Perform basic troubleshooting to ensure machinery operates smoothly. Read and interpret setup sheets to prepare for daily operations. Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Work independently to manage tasks and meet production goals. Essential Skills 1-4 years of experience as a Tube Mill Operator in a manufacturing facility. Proficiency in basic troubleshooting of tube mill machinery. Ability to read and interpret setup sheets for daily runs. Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of experience operating a tow motor. Ability to work on a computer to select running programs (Plex program). Although the facility is non-climate controlled, dock doors and fans are used to regulate temperature during warmer seasons. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with built-in overtime. The pay rate is determined based on the candidate's experience and needs as a tube mill operator. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
