Job Description

Vector Technical's partner in Lake County, Ohio manufactures military and commercial turbine blades and vanes for aircraft and land-based applications. They are in search of a Foundry Operator to join their team.

Available Shifts:

1st Shift OWW (7a-7p) = $18/hr. 3rd Shift OWW (7p-7a) = $18/hr. + $3/hr. shift diff = $21/hr.

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ON AN OFF WORK WEEK, 12-HR SHIFTS

OWW Schedule Breakdown:

Week 1 - Work M/T; Off W/Th/F; Work Sat/Sun Week 2 - Off M/T; Work W/Th/F;

Off Sat/Sun Responsibilities :

Will be responsible for maintaining vacuum casting furnace as required to produce quality castings. Must perform all tasks associated with mold set-up operations Must perform all routine furnace maintenance functions, such as; graphite maintenance, changeovers, dull cleans, etc. Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards as established. Record all work performed and all necessary information on logs as prescribed in Standard Operating Procedure Requirements (SOP). Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Keep work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition. Follow all safety rules. Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Perform all other duties assigned by supervision

Qualifications :

Mechanical aptitude a must. Previous foundry experience a plus. Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills. Teamwork essential. No attendance warnings within the last year. No written quality warnings within the last year. Must work toward a certified Vacuum Cast Technician I within one (1) year. Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.

Requirements:

Must be able to complete training on 1st shift and then move to 3rd upon completion of training Must be able to lift 50lbs. repeatedly Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required) Meet Color Perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required). Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required) #IND100
