• Full-time SUMMARY Receive work orders and set up equipment to keep abreast of material flow for scheduled orders.

Inclusive of proper coils removal, tracking, oiling and etc. Duties and responsibilities Sets up slitter, shear or other equipment based on work order Leads and works with Assistant Slitter Operator to prepare equipment for production Operates equipment; loads and unloads or direct load and unload of coils Supplies samples as requested Maintains visual inspection of material during slitting, reports and records all substandard material Responsible for packaging, weighing coils and tagging finished coils. Prepares accurate and timely paperwork and is responsible for proper housekeeping Maintaining Proper tension adjustments, speed adjustments, inspection of finished product Assists in clean up and changeover in the coaters May operate a forklift Responsibilities include the proper handling and disposal of all hazardous material including rags and solvents Perform other projects and duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
