Job Description The Commissioning Manager is tasked with planning, coordinating, and executing all electrical commissioning activities for hyperscale and enterprise data center construction projects. This role leads the commissioning team through various stages including pre-functional testing, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, energization, startup, turnover, and final client acceptance. The manager acts as the main liaison between the owner, commissioning agent, general contractor, equipment vendors, and internal project teams to ensure the safe, timely, and quality delivery of mission-critical electrical systems. Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate electrical commissioning activities for data center construction projects.

Lead the commissioning team through pre-functional testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testing.

Oversee the energization, startup, turnover, and final client acceptance processes.

Serve as the primary liaison between the owner, commissioning agent, general contractor, equipment vendors, and internal project teams.

Ensure all electrical systems are delivered safely, on schedule, and meet quality standards.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction and electrical commissioning.

Knowledge of electrical construction and mission-critical/industrial projects.

Proficiency in energy management and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with commissioning.

Capability to lead and manage teams through various testing phases.

Work Environment This role requires the ability to travel nationwide to support project assignments and the willingness to work on-site for extended durations during construction, commissioning, and startup phases. Flexibility to relocate temporarily based on project needs is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, PA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
