Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Mold Remediation Technician and play a vital role in restoring safe, healthy environments for our clients. In this energetic and hands-on role, you will be responsible for identifying, cleaning, and remediating mold growth caused by water damage or other moisture issues. Your proactive approach will ensure that properties are returned to their optimal condition swiftly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform mold inspection, assessment, and remediation using industry-standard techniques and equipment Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and suits to ensure safety during all procedures Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment for mold removal and surface cleaning Conduct water damage restoration tasks including flood restoration and water extraction to prevent mold proliferation Follow strict safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines during all remediation activities Assist with fire restoration projects by cleaning affected areas and ensuring proper containment Document work progress accurately using Xactimate or similar estimating software for job costing and reporting Support additional services such as carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, or construction-related tasks as needed Maintain a clean work environment by performing thorough cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas after each job Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service Experience Previous experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred Familiarity with mold remediation processes, water damage restoration, flood cleanup, and fire damage recovery is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper PPE use is essential Hands-on experience operating company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment is required Ability to respond promptly to emergency calls and provide on-call coverage when necessary Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations Basic understanding of Xactimate estimating software or similar tools is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence and industry best practices Join us in delivering exceptional restoration services that restore safety and peace of mind.
