In this vital role, you will operate commercial trucks equipped with concrete mixers to deliver and pour concrete at various construction sites. Your expertise in handling heavy equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining construction machinery will ensure smooth operations and high-quality results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to civil infrastructure projects, including paving, concrete pouring, and site development, while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with concrete mixers, dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and other paving equipment on construction sites. Transport concrete, asphalt, bituminous materials, and other construction materials to designated locations following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of construction machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with concrete pumping, finishing, forming, rebar installation, screed operation, and other related tasks as needed on-site. Follow all safety protocols and site-specific procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate delivery schedules and site operations efficiently. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, equipment maintenance logs, and safety inspections. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and concrete mixers. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs or maintenance. Familiarity with concrete pouring techniques including finishing, screeding, and forming processes. Knowledge of asphalt paving, concrete pumping, rebar installation, and working with bituminous materials is highly desirable. Ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and site-specific safety protocols. Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating load capacities accurately. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors on-site. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Understanding of construction site operations within civil infrastructure projects ensures seamless integration into team efforts. Join us in building the future!
