Job Description

Shift/Hours:
Monday 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Thursday (3 day weekend!!)
Pay Rate:
$16.00 Position Summary The Foundry Worker is responsible for supporting the metal casting process by preparing molds, operating foundry equipment, pouring molten metal, finishing cast products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare molds, cores, and casting materials according to production specifications. Operate foundry machinery and equipment, including furnaces, molding machines, grinders, and material handling equipment. Assist with melting and pouring molten metal into molds. Remove castings from molds and perform cleaning, grinding, and finishing operations. Inspect castings for defects and report quality concerns to supervisors. Maintain production records and complete required documentation. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Perform routine housekeeping to keep work areas clean and organized. Assist with equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and quality.

Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $16.00 Per Hour
