Mold Tech - 3rd Shift

This position reports to:

Production Manager __ Ensure all machines are running at a standard rate, cavitation, and cycle time. Perform quality checks at predetermined times and record on all products being molded to ensure all parts produced are to the highest acceptable quality level. Monitor machines to insure proper functions and safety Notify appropriate persons when there is a machine or tool malfunction Load and unload product bins or containers as necessary. 5S and daily check list form on presses and surrounding area (clean presses and surrounding area daily) Complete daily molding log book (press report) and press board. Check material levels as presses if material is needed contact material mixer. Refill dryer where/when needed. Pull/set molds based on production requirements. Perform machine & equipment inspections as required. Perform daily and/or weekly PM's as required. Perform diagnostics on production process and equipment problems determining necessary corrective actions Provide training to all shift personnel regarding standard operating procedures and processing techniques. High School Diploma/GED required. Injection molding technical education, preferred Minimum 3-5 years experience in a technical capacity in molding Minimum training in leadership is preferred Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. Manually maintain and repair all manufacturing or related process equipment. Install/set/relocate facility equipment. Troubleshoot and operate equipment as required. Analyze problems and take corrective action as required and provide processing expertise when needed. Perform periodic PM's as required. High school diploma or GED or Technical education preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing maintenance , preferred Injection molding experience preferred Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and hydraulic pneumatic Must have adequate interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written) Experience with robotics and PLC's is preferred Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
