Adjust injection molding machine parameters (temperature, pressure, injection speed, cycle times) to improve performance and reduce waste.
Tooling Management:
Oversee mold maintenance, installation, and removal, coordinating repairs with the workshop or external suppliers.
Troubleshooting:
Apply methodologies (such as general troubleshooting, 5 Whys, or Ishikawa/Fishbone diagrams) to diagnose and correct defects in molded parts (flash, sink marks, weld lines, short shots).
Documentation:
Create and update parameter sheets, work instructions (WI), and mold validation reports (PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ).
Quality and Continuous Improvement:
Participates in new product validation, automation projects, process standardization and setup times reduction. (SMED).
Safety:
Assures adherence and enforcement to all safety standards.
